For those who have been following our Facebook, you have seen many of the projects that we have been working on. As a reminder we are accepting consultations Tuesday thru Friday during the wedding season. Custom cakes start at 4.00 per person and have an artwork fee based on design. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks notice, but to insure a spot please give us as much notice as possible.

As you decide where you will drink your green beer, cabbage, and yummy reuben sandwiches this year, A Cookie and A Cupcake can provide you with our St. Patty’s Day cupcakes. Although we will be open for pick up orders only on March 17th, our Flavors of the Day will include “Green Velvet” and” Guinness”. Just remember our hours for the week for March 17th are:

Monday = Closed

Tuesday= 11am-6pm

Wednesday=11am-6pm

Thursday Open for scheduled pick up orders only

Friday= 11am-9pm

Saurday= 11am-9pm

Sunday=11am- 5pm

This month is also a great month for our customers, we have partnered with Dramatics Hair Salon in Lakewood. We will be giving 2 lucky customers a $25.00 gift certificate at the end of the month, all you have to do is purchase 6 cupcakes and your name will be entered into the drawing…..no strings attached, just a fun way to play. They in return are also giving away gift certificates to A Cookie and A Cupcake…..you could win twice.

We will be back at the West Town Grind Cafe in Westpark for another tasting. This time it will be a Tea Party. A tasting of different teas and of course A Cookie and A Cupcake will be there. Time is almost up to order your Valentine’s Gourmet Strawberries. These large chocolate strawberries are dipped in a variety of toppings: oreos, coconut, candied violets, pistachios and roasted pecans. How cute! A birthday present for a big fan. This was a vintage cake that we upgraded to fit the customer’s specific needs. Since we require a 2 week notice for custom cakes, we were able to accommodate her request.

We have also been busy doing a few events. One of my favorite is The West Town Grind Cafe’s Coffee tasting. It was a blast of cupcakes and coffee, and not just roasted beans, but 6 different coffee drinks. This coffee shop (sandwiches too) provided a great atmosphere and a great time, we learned about coffee, different ways to prepare it and of course cupcakes. Here are some photos!
