Many time when we get a cake order there is an interesting story attached. Whether the story is sad, short, or happy i thought it would be fun to share these interesting stories with you.
This cake was brought to us already designed by the bride. She had the colors, birds, flowers and the most important, a family heirloom. Passed along many generations this cake topper has been used in every one of their weddings. It’s a nice touch and provides a great conversation piece at your wedding.
How fun! The owner of Progressive fields had a impromptu to surprise party for his pilot that was retiring. He asked for a replica of his plane and was able to have the party right on the runway.
You can’t beat a bride with a little humor. Her family was from Ohio and his family was from the south. Plain and simple we all make fun of road kill, in this case they had it for their groom’s cake at the rehearsal dinner. We made the cake out of red velvet of course and kept the oppossum PG 13 , no playing dead in this case.
This time the bride had the idea to use her new last name “Martin” as a play on “Martini” and their love of golf and well… martinis.
Her favorite purse! A very special friend of this bride gave her a surprise shower cake and added matching cookie favors.
